Ben Wagner is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter that plays music with many groups all over Southern California. Albert Collins and Duane Allman were Ben's first influences. Pure energy and emotion of these players has been at the core of Ben's playing. The Blues set the foundation and grew to other genres of music. Folk, Country and Western Swing eventually became part of his sound. The steel guitar changed Ben's life. A deep love for the steel guitar added to Ben's sound. Being exposed to genius players like Kayton Roberts, Jeremy Wakefield, Joaquin Murphy, Chris Scruggs and Cindy Cashdollar influenced his steel playing.
